We love the small community feel of Fletcher and Arden. We also love living close to the Asheville airport, Target, all the shopping in general, good restaurants. Everything is so convenient yet living on a back road makes it feel as though we are in the country. We love to eat at Chilis, Cracker Barrel, and Carrabas. Wtih a new Olive Garden coming soon, there is great selection of good restaurants. There are several grocery stores to shop at with in five minutes of our home. A couple of those are Ingles, Walmart, and the new Target Superstore. When we bought the property we were drawn to the long grassy yard with heirloom apple trees dotted on the land. A small creek that borders the one side lures wildlife and native plants. The location of 106 Watson is wonderful because it is in between Hendersonville with charming downtown shopping and Asheville that has an abundance of activities to do. There is the River Arts District that provides unique shopping as well as the Grove Arcade and Biltmore Park. Biltmore Park has a new theater and YMCA. Other things that I can mention are the area schools that are nearby. The Asheville area has so many great public and private schools. Fletcher Park is less than 10 minutes and has bike and walking trails, baseball, and soccer fields.
We love the front porch of our home. We spend spring through fall enjoying the large space by having friends over and eating outside. Our back deck affords us to have gatherings with our backyard bonfires. We love being able to have our windows blind free because of the great privacy our land offers us. Being self-sufficient is important to us and so the large garden at the top of our property has offered years of fresh organic produce and tasty heirloom apples. The room has given us the space to also raise chickens where a few of the areas wild bunnies have also eaten along side them.

This is a beautiful and unique property. It is close to both Asheville and Hendersonville but has such a feel of privacy.
