The things I love about my condo at Biltmore Commons are the location, the quietness of the community and the over all atmosphere of the community. I have never had a problem with the neighbors; they are quiet, but willing to talk if you are. The community is very well kept up and the expectation is to keep it that way. We have not had issues thus far. I have never regretted moving in here and only leaving because I have gotten married. I have lived here for 14 years.
The great part of the location is the restaurants. Apollo Flame is great and affordable. I also like the Mexican restaurant Papas and Beer. You can also go to Smokey Park highway and have an assortment of fast food or nice restaurants.There are many grocery stores around here, such as Ingles and my favorite Bi Lo. K mart is conveniently located for those in need runs.I was drawn to this condo when I bought it was the others I had talked to loved living here. It is a quiet community and close to town but not too close. It was well taken care of and felt safe to me. That was very important to me to feel safe where I am living. I also like having a say in the community and attending the meetings.
The Asheville area is a great diverse place to live. You can always find something to interest you. hiking on the parkway is the best. You can see the mountains from everywhere. What else could be more beautiful or relaxing. The weather is great, you all four seasons,but not the extremes.There are a few more things about the area are the diverse areas around here. You can get the very out lying areas and how they live to the city areas. There are lots of concerts,festivals and shows in this area. This area is very local minded and you can get local arts,food and even housing in Asheville.
There is good healthcare here. You do not need to travel to get it but there is a lot of medical facilities within driving distance. You can definitely get the small town feel here, but not lack for anything.I do like to take advantage of the outdoor activities here. I also like being able to drive anywhere from here. I like the community theater and was able to volunteer there. Bele Chere is great. All the local artists, the pottery shows, and the Biltmore house. I am a quilter and enjoy the quilt classes and quilt shows here and in the surrounding areas. The quilt guild is a great way to meet other quilters. I also enjoy baking, learning to grow vegetables and canning them. The farmers market is great for getting vegetables to increase the variety of my canning.Our neighborhood is great for being able to rent the club house,use the swimming pool or playing tennis. There are all kinds of activities going on. There is a great place to walk and you feel safe and you don't have to worry about dogs,animals or even people bothering you. I enjoy walking here. You will see a lot of people walking. The club house houses a lot of activities,such as dinners and game night.

Grocery stores are plentiful we have a Food Lion right up the street and a Bi-Lo close by as well. A few miles away you will find an Ingles and an Aldi store. We bought this home because we think it's beautiful and it has so much playroom in and outside the home for our children as they grew up. Woodside Hills is a great neighborhood in a convenient location. We enjoy our privacy with this property as well. The Asheville/Candler area is a wonderful place and has something for everyone.Woodside Hills sits behind Enka Middle School, this was very convenient for our children when they attended, they could walk to and from school each day. The Elementary and High schools are a short drive away. Enka Library is only 2 minutes away; School buses will pick up in this development as well. We have access to the AB Tech Community College Enka Campus which is only 2-3 minutes away.
We are within 10 minutes from Downtown Asheville but still enjoy the privacy of this neighborhood. There is a community pool near the High school and soccer fields are very close with walking trails.
