Arden, NC is the perfect place to live. It is so central to Asheville, Hendersonville, Brevard. Very close to all shopping and fine dining. Living in Arden gives me the illusion of living in the mountains, but I am only minutes away to all the activity that I need. People are friendly and show that wonderful ""Southern"" welcome feeling!

It would be difficult to single out just one or two places to eat, there are so many places to choose from. My advice is to just pick one and then another and keep trying....it will be a while before a "favorite" will come along. I have many many "favorites" EAT and enjoy!!!! There are many grocery stores to pick from, my favorites are Earthfare, Ingles, and of course, Walmart has a great selection of quality foods.

The home that I live in was chosen because it had 9 out of the 10 "must have" things that I was looking for! I love Arden, NC because one can get to any where from here!!!!! A few other things about Arden is the availability to hiking, walking, swimming, biking, camping, etc. Anything out of doors that you enjoy can be done here or very close by.

My hobbies include most any thing out of doors. I enjoy very much the beautiful parks that are close by and the fact that they are dog friendly. I like white water rafting and this area is the place for it!!!! Also, Biltmore Park is just a ""hop, skip and a jump"" from me! There are great places to eat and shop and be entertained there.

My neighborhood is small but quaint! Neighbors are friendly and are quick to offer assistance if needed. On any given evening when walking my dog, Apollo, I will meet up with a neighbor or 2 who are walking their dogs. The neighborhood is safe and cozy!
