"Seller Says"
The things I love about our town is convenience to everything and Asheville is very eclectic, great food and is very artsy. It is home of the famous Biltmore House Estate and many other attractions full of history. We have great music to fit everyone's wants. Great schools and restaurants and plenty of Golf! We have celebrations in the summer such as Shindig on the green and Bele Chere in July! You can be in town within 8-10 minutes, grocery stores and shopping in less than 5 minutes.
I love to eat breakfast on Saturday morning state "TASTY DINER"! It's hometown folk where everyone is friendly and knows each other. We frequently go to Fatz Cafe, Cracker Barrell, Applebee's, and fast food and can be there within 4 miles. Also on the east side of town, about 10 minutes away you have Olive Garden and Outback so delightful restaurants within minutes of home.
Grocery stores and convenience markets are plentiful with well-known chains. We have 2 malls with great stores within about 6 miles of home.
The property was my great, great grandfathers place and my parents purchased it when they got married. It has been quite sentimental through the years and still, my fathers birthplace still sits beside the property with lovely people there and the house and grounds are in great shape.
The Asheville area is wonderful with all of its diversity. I love the convenience to everything!
A few other things I can mention is the weather is gorgeous! There's always a mountain breeze and the flowers are gorgeous. One mountain snow in Winter is always great and ski lodges plentiful.
Of course we like all different things like going to Cherokee to the Indian villages. Also you have Harrah's Casino that's about a 45 minute drive. Love the ACC Basketball tournaments at the local US Cellular Center in downtown Asheville.
I love the front porch! It looks like a home your grandmother lived in many years ago and this one has been lovingly updated. The floors are beautiful and the yard is huge! It's nice to have a drive that you can easily turn around, which is not common in the mountains! The house was built in 1927 and has updated roof. It has a great carport and patio. Come see this fabulous house that will take you back in time! Gwen
ReplyDeleteThe grounds are hard to fully appreciate in the video--they're beautiful and expansive! Note that the zoning here is Services which means this would be an excellent home-work solution for an architect, engineer, attorney or artist.
ReplyDeleteThis is my homeplace! I have fond memories of playing Badminton and Croquet in the backyard and also have many a family picnic, reunions and even weddings. When I was a little girl, we used to walk through the woods and cut our own Christmas tree. There's not many properties in Asheville that has the road frontage this does. It could easily be used as office space, retail space or a Mountain Vacation home rental. Also the possibility of duplexes and a small home development. Enjoy relaxing on the front porch with a glass of Nana's lemonade or use the back patio or brunch! Ample parking on the property and plenty of place for a garden. Help us sell our home quickly!
DeletePlease help us sell our home!! My mother has lived her for 52 years and is ready to downsize. The property is in "mint" condition with brad new roof from the studs up, new paint inside and out, new heat pump/AC, new water heater, back door, ceilings lowered from 10 feet to 8 feet for warmth, new carpet, patio, carport and more!! This could be used for several things including a building site or a perfect Mountain Vacation Home. Perfect home with great neighbors and ample parking. Great road frontage and convenience to everything.

ReplyDeleteClassic 1927 West Asheville Bungalow. 1.5 acres opens up possibilities to build, expand, garden or create your own vision of what all that extra land should be. This amount of land is hard to find in West Asheville. Fireplace, carport and patio are great bonuses. Charming. Reese Morgani, 828-545-5880, Buyer Specialist
