The things I love about Clyde is it is close to everything. You have the mountains on all sides. Shopping is nearby, Asheville on one side and Waynesville on the other. It is a quiet and nice place for family to grow.
When I bought the property I loved the fact the school was close, the neighborhood was clean, great neighbors, and easy access to highway and nearby towns. My kids loved living there and it was a great starter home for a single mom. I felt safe and so did the kids. The Asheville area also has a variety of things to do. Very close to my home in Clyde. Also, during the summer Asheville has lots of activities, restaurants, and live music (my favorite).
Clyde has a great elementary school, junior, and high schools. I grew up in this area and loved it. Lake Junaluska is within 3 miles so we enjoyed walking around the lake daily during the Spring an Summer months. It was very relaxing. We loved walking, riding, hiking, and swimming. All were local activities for the kids and I. My neighborhood is great for quiet walks, friendly neighbors, child friendly, cookout, and get-togethers with friends and family.
What a great deal! Large rooms and kitchen space. Love the porch right off the master bedroom.
