The things I love about Canton are the people and the small town feel. In just a few minutes you can either be in Asheville or on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Our town has several small sandwich shops and a new family restaurant named Sid's on Main which has a big city taste and a small town feel. There are several grocery stores to choose from, all within a few minutes drive.
We bought the land because it had such a great view of the mountains. It was the perfect setting for the floor plan of the house. Haywood County is a beautiful place. Canton was a great place to raise our children and will be for you too.
One of my favorite things about the house is the oil/hot water heat. You can never tell when the heat is on. It is the most even heat I have ever had.
This area is great for all kinds of family activities. Sports, hiking, biking, camping, fishing, and canoeing are only a few things to do. Our neighborhood is quiet and makes you feel safe enough to leave your doors unlocked. 
Lots of space and natural light, i especially love the brick fireplace. Very inviting!
