We love Mexican food. There are several good places, one of our favorites is Papas and Beer. We also like The Plant for great vegetarian. Grocery stores are very plentiful in this area. In ten minutes, in either direction, you can be at a grocery store. We even have a variety of the big health food stores, like Trader Joe's and Earth Fare. When we bought the property, we loved that it felt like we were totally in the country, but we could be to stores, theaters, concerts, etc, in fifteen minutes.
The Asheville area is so nice because it has something for everyone. You have the beautiful mountains, great restaurants, shopping, and theaters. Also, we have the civic center, which brings in various artists for the young and old. We have several interests, but our favorite things are golf and tennis. Fortunately, we have some nice places here to play.
Our neighborhood is great for outdoor gatherings. It is small and everyone knows everyone. There is no through traffic to worry about. People can watch out for each other's property when you are away.
