Asheville is a beautiful mountain city. There is so much to do and see here. The people here are very friendly and welcoming. If you enjoy outdoor activities there is a variety of options around...hiking, fishing, rafting, and a beautiful Arboretum not far away. We always enjoy taking guest to Biltmore House and Biltmore Village which is only 10 minutes away or to the Blue Ridge Parkway that is less than 2 miles away. The Blue Ridge Folk Art Center is less than a mile from our house which is always a treat!It is hard to name just one Asheville restaurant since there is such a big variety and close by. We have enjoyed Pomodoros where every Wednesday they have 1/2 price bottles of wine and delicious Greek and Italian Foods. We have enjoyed Tupelo Honey and Early Girl Eatery downtown since they have a great variety.
We shop at Ingles since it is two minutes away and always is clean and orderly. It has been great since they have added a gas station there and you get discounts on gas if you use your Ingles card for your purchases. Trader Joe's and Harris Teeter are also close by. Asheville is having a surge in grocery stores and all of them are close by. The Asheville Mall is about seven minutes away. The VA Hospital is less than a mile away and Mission Hospital is about 10 minutes way. 
The house felt like ""Home"". The builder did a wonderful job with the crown moldings and hardwood floors. The house is spacious and the bedrooms are very large. We had the option of having the laundry room on the main floor or downstairs. The location of this home is ideal. It takes no time to get to I-40 or downtown yet it is not in the city limits which means no city taxes!The beauty of the mountains is what made us want to live in Asheville. It is city that has all of the conveniences yet it feels like a small town. Every season of the year here has its own beauty!
The location of this home is perfect. There is not much traffic and it is minutes away from grocery shopping, the mall, downtown Asheville, Biltmore, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The WNC Nature Center is less than two miles away and is located right next to Azalea Park which has a pool, a great dog park and picnic areas.
It was always our goal to live in the mountains and we are so pleased with our decision to move here. The natural beauty and hometown feel is what makes this the best place for us. Our family and friends always love to visit and most of them would want to live here if they could. We enjoy driving the Blue Ridge Parkway and going to look at neat little crafts and antique shops. There are always fun festivals around especially in the Fall and Summer. There are an abundance of Tailgate Markets in the Summer where you can get local produce and goods. 
East Ridge is a very well kept neighborhood. The Homeowners Association ensures that everyone maintains a certain standard and that everyone keeps up the appearance of their homes. The homeowners dues are very reasonable and this covers lawn maintenance such as mowing and blowing as well as Chem Lawn treatments several times a year. The neighbors are very friendly and look out for each other.
What a gorgeous home! The hardwood flooring is beautiful and loads of natural light, this one is going to go fast!
