Things I love about Asheville and particularly West Asheville are the parks, the colors on the buildings and the swell eating places. The array of shopping is stunning and exciting and the people are fun to be around. The parks are incredible and being along the river as most of them are the things to do and see can't be matched. It is so nice to see families and couples of all types enjoying being outdoors with each other and their pets.

We love to eat at the Clingman Cafe in the River Arts District. Also there is 12 Bones BBQ there as well as the Westville Pub. The Hop is a great ice cream stop and the U Joint is wonderful and well as the famous Sunny Point Grill or the nationally known Admiral on Haywood Rd.

The Ingles in downtown West Asheville is known in the neighborhood as the International Ingles due to the eclectic folks that shop for their favorite types of foods. With the West Gate Shopping Center just down the road and Earth Fare there we can find anything we need as food, healthcare and drinks go. 

My property was just what I was looking for... A big beautiful yard for me to play in, garden in, build walks and walls and a wonderful wooded area for privacy and Mother Nature to play in. There is not a prettier property in the neighborhood with so much potential for someone to make to their fantasy.

The Asheville area has just the right kind of weather all year round. The skies are fabulous to watch and the different types of surrpounding scenery are incredible. If you like hiking, skiing or river sports it is all here. The entertainment towntown is also tops and the dining out is special. Spiritual centers abound and special types of groups and educational facilities for everyone are available.

Our neighborhood is great for cooking out, walking and riding bikes or skating. Walking and jogging groups enjoy the neighborhood and the parks that surround it. The sidewalks are nice and wide and many folks take strolls to downtown or the parks where they meet with friends for ball games or picnics. Both parks have great areas for cooking out and enjoying the river.
