We love to eat at the following restaurants: Cracker Barrell, Tamarind, Outback, Casa Torres, so many choices!!!
Grocery stores are plentiful and the Target/ Lowes plaza is five minutes away. The new Mills River Ingles is gorgeous and is fun to shop at. We've really enjoyed the Friday "steak night" at Ingles.
When we bought the property we were drawn to the newness of the community and the house. With a new house the repairs are limited allowing more time to enjoy family living.
We love Asheville for it's mountains and streams and closeness to city life. Our favorite spots to visit are Grove Park Inn, Biltmore House and Pisgah National Forest.
A few other things I can mention are the seasons are mild and you get a taste of each.
We love visiting the local library, being a part of extra curricular children's groups and being involved in our local church.
Our neighborhood is great for walking, the park and pool and friendly, quiet neighbors.
