The thing we love about our town is the diversity. You can absorb as much culture in downtown Asheville as you like or you can head up on the Blue Ridge Parkway for a good hike and the breathtaking views.
We love to grab a drink and a slice of Pizza at Barley's in downtown Asheville, or the Fajitas at El Que Pasa! Their fresh made guacamole is the BEST in downtown, and dining at the Corner Kitchen in Biltmore Village is always a very nice treat.
The location of our home is the most convenient to anything in Asheville. Grocery stores and retail stores are just a skip and a hop away. Asheville has a huge market for grocers, Ingles, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Publix - you name it, Asheville has it.
When we bought this property we were drawn to the house because it was brand new, never lived in, and it was all one level living. We have a 10 month old at the time, and not worrying about going up and down steps at that time was huge for us. We also loved that it was conveniently located to most anything in Asheville.
The Asheville Area is wonderful because of how diverse it is. You can take in historic downtown Asheville, dining, shopping, the arts, or you can travel up the Parkway and go for a hike. Our mountains are the most beautiful. Our greenways are expanding and there is plenty to do along the French Broad River as well.
We enjoy biking the trails near the Arboretum, hiking and picnicking along the Blue Ridge Parkway, tubing the French Broad, Visiting Carrier and French Broad River Parks. visiting the Biltmore House, and dining all over Asheville.
Our neighborhood is great for sharing our harvests from our gardens with each other. Also, we love the fact that although we are conveniently located to anything downtown Asheville, our neighborhood still has a rural feel.

ReplyDeleteLove the decorator colors, love the kitchen, love the property! I wonder if it might be possible to re-convert that former garage into a garage again, for someone who has several vehicles.
