What we love about our town is that Leicester is far enough out to feel like a rural country setting, yet it is close enough to grocery stores, Wal-Mart, restaurants and schools. We love our seclusion along with not being too far isolated from places and things we need.

What we love about our neighborhood is that it is great for quiet porch sitting and relaxing. We loved gardening and keeping chickens. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced-in yard area.

We like to eat at Papas Pizza. We also like the fast food restaurants we are close to. We also like to eat at the many places nearby in Weaverville. Gossett's Grocery has great biscuits in the mornings!

I shop at Ingles on Leicester Hwy. In addition, I shop at the nearby Wal-Mart in Weaverville. Lowe's in Weaverville comes in handy as well.

When we bought the property, we were drawn to the secluded quiet setting. We love being surrounded by the woods... it's beautiful! We are able to have a small "homestead" i.e. gardening and small farm animals like goats and chickens.
